Hi all,

I'm a semi-noob so bare with me. I installed fukpsn. I'm on the sgk 4.25 spoofed. Kmeaw 3.55.

So I am able to get online. I was able to sync my trophies and such. When I try to watch Netflix, download previous purchases from PS store, and log into PlayStation home, I get Thue error codes 8001 etc etc.

Is PlayStation home, Netflix, etc. Not suppose to work? If you need specific error codes ill post. I'm just curious why syncing trophies and logging in the PlayStation store works, but Netflix and PlayStation home and downloading previous purchases are not working. What can it be? Thanks.

Someone mentioned it was because fck psn changes your console id. so you get blocked from activating content. I'm still looking for a way to activate my old content.

Oh OK so this isn't just on my console? So what is the purpose of this besides syncing trophies? Maybe I'm not using this to its full potential. Thanks for the reply

It's got nothing to do with f*ckPSN.... It's a change up in sony's servers that prevents anything purchased after 11-1-11 from being activated on CFW. try downloading a game you bought before than you will find it downloads and activates fine. Put simply we are working on an outdated firmware. if you want full PSN use update to OFW or deal with out.

Netflix returns an error because it's signed with the 4.1 keyset. bet someone on DEX could crack this eboot. I'm willing to bet PShome is the same problem...... the new youtube app also has this issue. problem is these functions are mostly trivial and no one really wants to fix them. as I said I'm sure they can be patched using full debugging mode and dumping ram with the apps loaded but I'm not giving up my blue ray player to do so.

I had problems the last time we had psn access. So at that time I changed my email address with playstation network.
I also deactivated my consoles. Waited the seven days for the change to take place.

This time around I still had problems activating or downloading my content, so I first copied all my user name content to a usb drive. Copied all my saves etc through xmb as well to USB. This way I still have all my stuff.

I then created a new user on the PS3, deleted the old user and then I had no problems downloading and activating all of my psn content, plus I purchased new stuff.

Then once I had everything. I copied back my old user name. Then went too recovery mode and did options 3 & 4 to get everything back.

Do at your own risk, this is just what worked for me. I can't guarantee that it works for all.

i will try this to see if it works but im sure i got another 2 ps3 consoles with my psn id so i need to deactivate them.

You could always try the 'New User' first.

But if not, then yeah go to Sony Playstation Network on the pc, and you will see what consoles you have activated.
