My previous inaccurate post, further flatters the Uk there. Didnt know the precise price in the US!! $199 makes the UK look like an isle full of Class A citizens on £100k+ annum salaries...

The U.S. $199 is with a two year contract with AT&T. The U.K. is doubtless without contract. Without contract the phone is probably $600+ USD

Looking at it, the phone is not offered without contract in the U.S. by Apple themselves... You would probably have to go through a carrier to get one and Verizon is the only one who has the iPhone sim unlocked (can be used internationally).

That's locked to the carrier - i.e subsidized for the $199 price - You're paying $199 and have a 2 year contract!!!
You won't get a sim free iPhone 5 for $199. Which is what you get for the £529 in the UK.
There are deals available in the UK for 2 year contracts where the iPhone 5 is free.

Obviously the relevant point is total outlay and an iPhone 5 is pretty much swings and roundabouts wherever you buy it in the world.

Wow! PS3 is still holding its price. I was expecting a huge price drop so it could be more affordable and to make larger audience. And I think it looks pretty cheap.

@Cheesethief , don't forget that PSPgo was a complete failure that's no longer in production.

I had one, but then couldn't do jack shít with it, like play UMDs, plug a standard USB cable, use a normal PSP Memory Stick Pro Duo card and the damn buttons were too small for my hands.
