I want off Rebug!!!

A few months ago I installed Rebug 3.55.2. I had previously been using Kmeaw. Before that I had also used Geohotz, Waninkoko's, and Wutangrza's. I was always able to install OFW as I pleased and CFW as well. I've been trying to install Glevand's CFW since he released it. The problem is that since I have installed Rebug's CFW my PS3 will no longer recognize update data from my USB. I've tried everything from reformatting the system to putting my hard drive in my PC and adding an MBR and reformatting that way. Put the hard drive back in and I'm still on Rebug. This has worked for me before until I installed Rebug. Does anybody know of anything I can do or why it's doing this? If I don't get a fix I'm probably going to throw it out the window.

Can you QA toggle "System Update Debug" and install OFW from internal HDD? (see quick swap FW in my sig below).

Hope you get this sorted mate.

Is the QA Flag Extra and "System Update Debug" a Rebug menu option? Or is it an app within itself?

@GregoryRasputin , I've tried everything from the recovery menu. This all has always worked before installing rebug. I even chose to restore PS3 System which took 19 hours to run. When that didn't work, that's when I took the hard drive out and attached it as a slave drive to my PC. I had done this before when I was on Kmeaw. When I reinserted it in my PS3 and formatted it automatically started me on 3.55 OFW. Now when I put it back in after an MBR format it just goes back to Rebug CFW. I'll try and check the selector settings like @haz367 recommended. When I installed it I followed @itskamel 's guide and just undid everything I did on his tut.

Thumbs up

if u do a format(remove mbr/partitons) and insert the hdd, the ps3 normally ask to re-format it re-install firmware from usb, press select+start for 5sec and it does it thing, then u can use OFW355 to start fresh, should work, weird that it boots rebug after format?!

searched for the rebug settings, and this info for updating from the XMB/rebug selector settings:

Code:
NORMAL MODE:

NORMAL mode is the default mode after installing Rebug. It uses the DEBUG XMB and allows switching between the two different ★Debug Settings menus.

NOTE: NORMAL mode MUST be set if you wish to reinstall official firmware through the XMB.

It worked. I thought I had tried this before but I had erred in trying to switch it to normal mode first. In normal mode you can't set the XMB mode to retail, which is weird. You have to be in Debug mode. Such a simple thing. Thanks.
