@baileyscream
Hi Again;
will till now i have downgraded 11 PS3, using both ProgSkeet and E3-Linker.
but i had problems with 2 PS3s in the De-Hashing process while using the E3-Flasher. the two PS3s are 3.56 OFW from Factory with "Date Code 0D" but can be downgraded to 3.50.
The Downgrade process went fine, but the De-hashing not. i can go up to 37% of the update and then give me an error 8002F1F9 and it is going in loops. i managed to fix one using Service mode and RSOD fix but the controller has to be connected via USP to work the wireless disconnect after 15 minutes of turning on the PS3. the other one is still in the 8002F1F9 error loop and trying to fix it.
i had a third PS3 with the same model and Downgraded it with the "ProgSkeet" without a problem and works like charm.
if any one has advice regarding this issue please help
Thanx

no as you dont just plug it in to work.
there needs to be factory service mode files ported to the device for it to work and as yet this hasnot been done.

i will dig around for a list of error codes and post them here and in the guides.
but i think this is bluetooth error.

did you use the nobt no bd pup? there in the downloaded packs
the one in the service mode dehash is def this pup.
try that pup and see if it will complete the update without looping

I read about the error and it is around Bluetooth issue, but the two PS3 are new and never used.
I will download the NoBt and NoBD and see once i get out of this error loop since i can not access recovery mode but i will use service mode and see

Edit: I formatted the hard disk and installed the NoBt and NoBD Pup it went fine but the controller can not be disconnected from the USB cable, if disconnected the PS3 will not recognize it :-(. what shall i do, i am thinking of connecting the ProgSkeet and inject the NAND again and repeat the whole process.

your going to need the correct QSB for your board aswell and with no official response from anyone from progskeet there is no way to know if it comes with a selection of QSB's or if there going to be selling them seperate or if there is allready some on the market that actually work / match the test points / NOR / NAND legs

or although they dont support the clips with this board will they still actually attach the the 1.2? at this unknown stage then there is a possibility but who knows

perhaps you can ask your supplier (who did you go with btw)

i am in the uk and it takes 2-3 weeks to ship to me from say the usa so my guide is going to be a while

ok there is no point in re-flashing as you will just end up at the same stage your at now

now as you have 2 out of a few ps3's that have this error (the controller not staying connected) then try the 3.55 re-marry. this should solve it.
if you get NG then check the cables to the bdvd and bluetooth board and then try again (if it just turns off then it has re-married)

then try qa flag de-hashing with normal 3.55fw and see if it takes the update

as you have the nobd nobt update then you know you can solve the loop if you get it again.
