I for some reason still have some hope in this but if RED POWER isn't sharing the supposed CFW and instead selling it, it won't be used to me, that and it requires 3.55 firmware PS3box.

BTT: There should only be a file or a price for a proof. All other media (video, pic, etc...) are redundant because they are so easy to alter content...

I've been reading this with interest.

There are certainly two views, the sceptic, and the optimist, in fact, you could easily be both..

Although I am hopeful this is real, and something comes of it, I also wonder what the benefit actually is?

Could those already on 4.21 install this cfw? or does it require an upgrade from 3.55 cfw or maybe DEX?

What do we gain that we dont have now?

With all the latest game patches becoming available, psn (for now) the ability to dual boot with hardware, DEX capabilities we couldnt really ask for a great deal more, could we?

I guess due to all of the above I just listed, it would be equally hard to prove this is real, as well as fake with the use of spoofers, DEX, and the latest games already patched....

I'll continue to follow it with interest, but in the mean time, other than the fact that "possibly" those who have updated past 3.55, could somebody tell me the other benefits?

I dont understand why MM would point out the game requires 4.21 if it is on that, unless MM can only assume your on 3.55 regardless of what spoofers you may or may not be using?


What could be classed as a good video of proof?

decent quality, fixed camera face on showint tv and ps3 only connected,

showing firmware can be spoofed,

psn currently pointless as we all have it,

genuine discs run on DEX?

how about MM, plus a couple of games, showing firmware, genuine disc that is new, and something like netflix, unless netflix runs on DEX too?

how can developers are able to break sony firmware but incompetent to make a simple video.
developers were able to break the ps3 must be very professional also has special equipment and preparation, how could they not have a good camera , hdmi cable and latest multiman.

but they may look as simple as Gangnam stlye and shocked the world
