After having a brick going from DEX to CEX.I finally got into FSM mode. And I went to system update, And selected from USB and started installing rogero 3.4CEX everything went great copying. And when it when to the next step it kicked me to a red screen with many languages on it. I restarted the ps3, and hit cancel this time. and I was kicked back into FSM but this time I was greet by the Rogero splash logo and app home and install packages. But when I go to system info I am told I am on 4.25. I have tried using Lv2diag.self as the only file on completely otherwise blank fat32 drive and nothing. I have huge red box that says factory service mode.

Dont know the whole story or context here. Does it have the red factory service mode box? If not you're already out of fsm. The 4.25 is a spoofer. If you have the install .pkg then your ok. Try to install a .pkg and see if it works.

@Bigbones87 I fixed the post. Tried installing a pkg I get error 8001003A.

Hmm.....the lvl2diag will only exit fsm on 3.55 or lower. Not sure what happened here, because I'm no expert on dex consoles. Time to step down and let someone else help. Sorry man,

So you installed Rogero v3.6 from the xmb of factory/service mode?

Shut down your PS3.
Unplug it from the wall.
Put these files on the root of usb stick.
Put usb stick in the right most port.
Plug power back into ps3 and press power.
Now wait.....wait.....wait...... Go get a beer or something.

When it is done it will shut off automatically.

Now don't turn it back on yet.
Erase all files from usb stick.
Put this on the root by itself.
Put usb stick in the right most port.
Press power.
Now wait....wait....about 30 seconds ps3 will shut off by itself.
Take out the usb stick.
Power up the PS3 and you should be out of FSM and on Rogero v3.6.

Now dehash by following my guide below from the spoiler Qa Flag.

Edit - You already have those files I linked. But you know that the lv2diag.self file are different right? One is to enter and one is to exit.
Also make sure to rename PUP to PS3UPDAT.PUP

No eject. That was only to trigger the code sent by the jig. The code has been sent and you are in FSM.

Ok just tried the only files on the usb, Just keeps booting straight into FSM. Ok now it is working Busy lights on both, touchy things I tell you. So it should just shut off then? and then us the other file to get out of FSM.
