that's actually how i read the posts oozic but it seems you need the darn bluedisk dongle to launch either way...though i could be mistaken and that the cfw is being charged for at the very least since it will have to have some drm to protect it sounds like you need a dongle

Okay. So the CFW checks for the presence of the Dongle on boot-up, but it's technically not required for the CFW to run. I understand.

I also understand it's technically possible for anyone to put in hard work and lots of hours and learn how to create their own CFW, but instead they rely on others work. When other people come up with a solution that isn't free since technically it *could* be they throw a fit.

In reality it seems these CFW authors want money for what *they* have created and by all means if you wish to not purchase one then don't. However, there are fundamental differences between the TrueBlue and this Dongle/CFW.

The TrueBlue required a hacked eboot for each game you wish to play and it did not support all games nor was it in any way a CFW. It did ship with a CFW, but it was pretty much useless compared to kmeaw and rebug.

This new device gives you the ability to play any game you wish - so far nothing has been said about homebrew, but I would assume it would not be left out.

So in reality we've got a new Dongle with a different type of DRM and an entirely different CFW with a quoted price of 1/4th of a game.

I would have no problem *investing* in such a device as of right now it will be the only simplistic out of the box solution for playing 3.56 -> 4.21 games.

I really hope you haters don't sit around for another year and do nothing, but complain that things are the way they are. It's such a waste of talent.

I also would rather have a free solution with comparable ease of installation and usage, but I have no problem on *donating* a few quid for something that would be worth it - unlike the TB that was a piece of lard on a stick.

They will probably try to time the dongle release with the time when all the high demand games (Black Ops 2,AssCreed 3,Dishonored) are coming out.

This will only put even more pressure on clueless users to "get da dongle".
