Indeed, a lot of us have actually bought a second PS3 so we can continue playing our legally bought games. (Though I myself will not be buying more games apart from Assassin's Creed 3 cos I am boycotting all else $ony).
Yet the dongle-lovers only come-back is that we're too cheap and that it's the dongle-makers work so they can charge for it.

If we are too cheap why have we bought a 2nd PS3???
If we are too cheap why some of us continue to buy original games?
How can you call us cheap when you are pirating games with dongles who's only purpose is to pirate games???

And 90% of the work put into these dongles have been FREELY released by other devs and hackers, these dongle-makers then used this information for their own profit. Without all this initial work there would be no dongles. So you're paying for a product which is based mostly on free information, and buy buying these dongles you support these teams which think they can sell others peoples' work which was intended to be free!

Previous consoles REQUIRED modchips and the like, they were mandatory devices needed to hack a console. These dongles are not, they are there to make sure you have bought the dongle, they have no real application other than making you spend your money on them.

But we've said this countless times, and dongle-lovers refuse to listen or are in denial or just dont care (funny really, if you are a dongle-lover why come to a site which is anti-drm dongle???).

We cannot stop an Apple fan from buying an iphone 5 even though you can flash a Samsung Galaxy S3 in their face showing how much better spec it is whilst also being cheaper; they will still buy the iphone 5. Dongle-lovers will continue buying dongles simply because they are idiots, what else can we say?

You mean "That many of us use the defense of morals and homebrew to defend what you're really doing - pirating games". Hell, I want this CFW so I can copy as many new games as I can get my dirty little hands on and I'm not hiding behind any type of bull****.

I understand your points and they are the generic blabbering that comes with these types of threads, but I do agree that it should be free. However, I did not hack the FW or create the CFW so who am I to say they can't charge for it? In the end they aren't charging for the Dongle ... the Dongle is just a tool to use what they are selling which is their CFW 4.21.

I'd have no problem purchasing it even if it didn't have a DRM dongle. How's that for your moral mindset?
