There's never going to be any 'true' CFW. The scene is full of dicks, they don't want to get sued by Sony, etc etc. May as well go get a flasher and downgrade my console; as far as I'm concerned the CFW scene is dead. 3.55+ will probably be the last 'hackable' firmware in a long time. Maybe once Sony gives up with the PS3 and releases their next generation device will someone take a jab at releasing the keys, but until then, I doubt that there will be anything. Unfortunately that leaves people who rely on backups to use their systems (like me), out of luck. Oh well, I always have my XBOX and ability to install games without any drives failing on me. Have fun Sony, I'm done with your console, and especially done with this self centred, pretentious scene. It's like, shut up until you release something. That's how the world works. Sadly too many fanboys here who jump on bandwagons and start rumours like wildfire. Geohotz cracked the PS3 like it was nothing, and now everyone else can't? He's not a genius, other developers, if they spent enough time and effort would have been able to crack it wide open, but it's just not happening, because they don't want legal trouble, they don't want to promote piracy, and they don't want to give anything to the scene that just takes and takes.

I will agree but if you think about it what country makes the most kirfs and even cracks software, not to mention they manufacture a lot of the worlds electronics and is probably only second to Germany in computer tech (from what I hear).

This BTW does not mean I think this is real, I still don't believe it until I see it come out, In which case it won't be about me believe or not but instead disappointed (but that's just me).
