stuck at rogero
Hey guys
I have noob problem here. i recently installed rogero CFW with 4.25 spoof. right now i want to go back to OFW 3.55 but it won't let me because of the 4.25 spoof it says that i am already at the highest firmware. Is it possible for me right now to go back or do i have to downgrade because of this **** firmware? thanks for your help! |

Hello there,
I am currently having the same problem. I am on Rogero 3.4 with the 4.21 spoof and when I try to update through the Recovery Mode I get this: "No applicable update data was found. Connect storage media that contains update data of version 2.70 or later, and then press the START and SELECT buttons at the same time." I have a usb with the PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP file on it with 3.55OFW. Any suggestions? |

Are you sure you installed rogero v3.4? It should be saying install 3.55 ofw or newer when updating, not 2.70. Rogero is a 3.55 cfw and is only spoofed to newer firmwares to prevent updating accidentally. Not sure what you have done.

Yes, when I start my ps3 the Rogero logo comes up and when i go into my system info it says 4.21. I am able to install multiman and showtime so im still on a CFW. |

That is if you are on Rogero. Because like already stated, if recovery menu shows 2.70 or later, then you are on 2.70. I think we are missing some of the story. Is your console Qa flagged? Did you have a disc in the drive and updated?

Well awhile ago I switched my console to DEX, and then came back to CEX recently using a method where I used Rogero 3.4 to downgrade to. I thought everything was working fine until I recently tried to play a backup. I then tried to switch to Kmeaw's 3.55 CFW and my PS3 wouldn't let me. I just re-flashed my PS3 to DEX and it is working fine. I am going to leave it until I can find a better method of going back to CEX. Thanks for the replys! |
