I thought it was an excellent film for the special effects, but for story and acting I much prefered the latest Batman flick.

Ok first of all… we all have to agree about one thing… that is each one’s opinion … and we are different from each other.

So for me .. a big fan of HULK and Marvel… I loved it so much … especially …the point was … making you have to wait .. and wait….wait ….to c the HULK getting angry ….and BOOM… hulk VS thor ..just like the anime … that was awesome,

Story .. very good…

Script .. very good

Directing ,… awesome

Editing ,,, very good…

Actors … all of them … and captain America.. just like the comix …responsible,

BEST PART WAS …. After credit ( Thanos ) WOW…. And that’s a BIGWOW

movie is not boring for me

I enjoyed the film, imho it's a good movie one of the best in terms of "superheroes".

....Think the real issue here is character development - there wasn't any.

When Ed norton played Hulk - we got lots of character development - he's a character actor.

When you see SLJ in a film of this grade it hurts, Captain American had no character development in the first avenger - but it suits his personality - even if it's kinda dull and flat.

Robert Downey jr, is fantastic as iron man and is basically the only one who can lead a "good" marvel film with minimal character development because he's "got it" .

Trouble is it's not about him so we're just left with some seriously wooden acting, an extremely lacking super villain.

Words like "cool", don't cut it for me when you've been waiting years for a film like this. Didn't you guys have some expectations on this?

well... for me .. i will looking for ( MARVEL character development ) not the actors them self ... coz if i want to see acting.. am just going to watch a De Niro movie ..
also for me was the Marvel heroes with the new tech in cinema what they will look like... ..EX... if you compare HULK 1 & 2 to this HULK ... its a big deal...

so what i was expecting is they fix the HULK ( have to be as the comix one )

and as you said for IRONMAN.,., awesome ...

and as i said before... the after credit ( Thanos ).. it adds points to the movies ...

so in this movie am not judging the actors as actors.. but judging the heroes as marvel heroes .. they should be just like the comix...

just like Mortal Kombat movie.. was great .. but Street Fighter movie was bad movie.

please let me know if i misunderstanding your point

I've noticed that about a lot of hollywood movies, the previews and trailers look great, but the movie is not so good.

I follow you, think maybe you misunderstood a little.

Basically I'm saying Iron man was great, he didn't steal the limelight too much but had character. The reason Iron Man did so well in the cinema imo along with plenty of action.

Hulk by Ed Norton is still seen as the best hulk by most fans of the comic, including myself. Ruffalo didn't really do.......anything! Not saying he was poor just the whole films was set up wrong, he was a new cast member so he'd need to put his own stamp on it, just wasn't enough time.

The same would have been true for Robert Downey Jr, if we hadn't have had Iron Man, but we already "know" him from it and his behavior is instantly characterized, you know the kinda smooth operator kinda rubbish that suits him. Were he not to have been introduced in Iron Man I think this would have been far far worse and made him look bad.

Ahhh....I dunno....I could rant forever, it's just personal taste I spose and different people were hoping for different things....

I suppose it was my understanding that Marvel were going in the direction of producing more serious cinema - in the same way they reboot Spiderman, the same way they went back to "The Incredible Hulk"....You know, that these super heroes actually have personalities above simply "Cool", "Angry", "Patriotic". Those 3 words alone cover the 3 main cast members.

That's isn't cool imo, and isn't how it was set up, possibly for Captain America, because that film really was pure popcorn and it wouldn't be right to ret-con. But certainly not Hulk at least. There was no volume, no insight, no mystery, no.....nothing at the end of it all....But then I guess they didn't bring back Norton so I guess you could say they had a clean slate.....

Pshhhhh....

But their going backwards - thats my point in essence. in terms of characters and acting.
