Were he not to have been introduced in Iron Man I think this would have been far far worse and made him look bad. Ahhh....I dunno....I could rant forever, it's just personal taste I spose and different people were hoping for different things.... I suppose it was my understanding that Marvel were going in the direction of producing more serious cinema - in the same way they reboot Spiderman, the same way they went back to "The Incredible Hulk"....You know, that these super heroes actually have personalities above simply "Cool", "Angry", "Patriotic". Those 3 words alone cover the 3 main cast members. That's isn't cool imo, and isn't how it was set up, possibly for Captain America, because that film really was pure popcorn and it wouldn't be right to ret-con. But certainly not Hulk at least. There was no volume, no insight, no mystery, no.....nothing at the end of it all....But then I guess they didn't bring back Norton so I guess you could say they had a clean slate..... Pshhhhh.... But their going backwards - thats my point in essence. in terms of characters and acting.

the HULK for Ed Norton .. was cool... coz they made it like the comix... used word that hulk use to say it when he fights,

i agree with @japsander , about that Mark Ruffalo was better than Ed Norton, in my opinion , same comix character. ... and yes Hulk was the Fun part of the movie...

but you know for me i watch a marvel movie not for ( teaching me how to be responsible ) but to c the fight and the visual, and sound effect and the graphic and screen play and the story....etc
the Tech Touch .... is just a fantasy ... maybe lots of ppl expected the movie to be more than perfect... that's why they were disappointed,

but i didnt expect the movie to be more than perfect,,, coz i know this is the first avenger .. so its just the start ... wait for the real action

and for spider men,..,., still didnt watch it yet ,,,

about ( acting and Character ) i agree with you ...but in same time i prefer Mark Ruffalo than Eb norton as Banner,,, but sure Ed norton he is a great actor...and a heavy one
