I'm not disappointed at all, as a matter of fact I love all that I've got from the scene. Thanks to these folks that release their stuff I have a CFW, I have FTP, I have a backup/media manager (multiMan <3 ), and some neat homebrew apps that if it wasn't from this scene I wouldn't have.
Despite all the drama, this scene gave me much more than a black box to play games. Thanks to all of those who have made this possible. |

Ya, I´m quite happy with the scene right now. It´way better than it was 6 months ago and I believe it´s going to get better.
I`m very thankful for the CFW and apps that the devs have coded and released. I´m thankful to Duplex, NoDRM, propjoe and company, and anybody else who has released fixes for everyone to enjoy. I´m extremely grateful to the person/persons who released the CEX/DEX method. I still would like to see some more homebrew devs surface though.. So ya, all in all right now I´m pretty damn happy.

I barely turn on my ps3 since i gave up if something interesting happens then it happens. I'm mostly on my rgh xbox slim playing new games. I'm only keeping my ps3 because of the sony exclusives, ff versus that will never come and my dose of rare jap rpgs. You could say im dissapointed that if i see the same PS3 devs on the PS4 im seriously buying the next xbox or wii. Some might say why im still here and this is because thanks to DEX i can play those rare NISA rpgs i buy from the store.

That and they are too disorganised, they start off explaining one thing, then they mention another thing but then state that they wont really go into that thing until 10 chapters later, so you are like WTF. If you ask me it's like saying the following to an american and a brit: In football, to score all you have to do is get the ball across the line on the opponent's end. To a brit, they will see it as kicking the ball into the goal To an american, it's carrying the ball across the field line. But obviously as the statement was not clear enough, or contains/misses some vital information, it's completely confusing. Anyway stuff like that has put me off learning. Perhaps you can tell us what book you are using to learn from??

i'm disapointed with THE PS3, when i see graphics and performance differences between PS3 and xbox 360, or when i discovered that xbox 360 games had not mandatory install, or when i see that all the games are palyable on xbox but not on PS3 ( but this is not the fault of ps3 in this point xp ) , don't tell me that ps3 has a free online, i'm on cfw so i haven't online exepted this month

What about the great work DUPLEX and N0DRM are pulling out? Plus Deank with his great job of providing us with one of the best manager there is? (2 years? congrats!) + a hand full of others. I think its great we have those people dedicated to the scene. And besides the ''gaming'' part there is allot more you can do with a jb ps3.. The only thing gay about this scene are the dongle teams trying to rip people off. For the rest, its just a patience issue really. Good things are on the way. Less trolls and more open minded people are needed in this scene more though.

The PS3 is an expensive piece of hardware. Not everybody can afford to own one. That makes the nature of this particular scene spoiled. So I think quite naturally there is going to be some whining. However, I don't think the whining is near as bad as devs make it out to be. So somebody wants 4.21 CFW. Big deal. Who gives a sh!t if they ask for it. If you can't handle the requests or the fact that people know you're one of the people who can deliver what they want then stay anonymous or make yourself less accessible. I think it's the attitude of certain devs who ruin it more than anything. Why do you think the Wii scene is so great? It's because all the devs give what they got so nobody has anything to ask for. There isn't the lust for fame and money in that scene either. It's like the devs here hold their proverbial knowledge over the scene like a dangling snack in front of a dog and then wonder why everybody is drooling. Some are just plain smart ass mf'ers that need their teeth knocked down their f'n throats. If you're not going to contribute then STFU. Personally, I could give a flying 747 fu.ck less about what somebody releases or what they don't. I'm no going to sit here and beg for anything. I will however be grateful for whatever is released. To me the people who make this scene what it is are those like @DEFAULTDNB and @GraVoX959 among many others who spend a great deal of their time helping others. Finally, we already paid for our F'n PS3's. Anybody who thinks we should pay for it again to keep playing is a d0uche bag. That's exploitation at it's finest. That's why I'm glad we have people like @GregoryRasputin who tirelessly fights against DRM's. He does it for the benefit of the scene and less for himself. Imagine if everybody applied that much effort into contributing to the scene. The scene is what you make of it. I just wish I had more to offer than my opinion. The saddest part is that we know what the PS3 is capable of but it's been put in a stranglehold by $ony and devs alike. I still think a majority of the devs are awesome. I'm pretty sure everybody knows what minority I'm talking about.
