In one respect I am disappointed with the misdirection and deceit, revolving around the "inner circle" and crappy DRM sh!t.
Homebrew-wise the scene has never been stronger! SHOWTIME is ridiculously awesome.... Thatotherdev brings out updates every other week, and emulators are pretty damned good.... although a n64 emulator wouldn't go-amiss. :P Edit: cheers @BobbyBangin

![]() P.D. Is not the scene what sucks... is the people (some, not all) All you need to understand this is the real life... there are mother****ers all around, nothing new P.D.2. Generalization is not good |

I'm not disappointed in "the PS3 scene", it is what it is. The only problem I see is the fact that the PS3 is quite difficult to code for, there tends to be a clearly defined line between people who can grasp it and those who can't. Add to that the alien technology security, and we're left with a very small number of people who actually know what they're doing. Maybe half or less of these people are generous and care about end users... do you see where I'm going with this?
The only thing that p1sses me off is the so-called 1337 who decided to turn a homebrew/hacking scene into a money-making thing. They can die.

If you expect nothing, you will never be disappointed (I saw it written on a public bathroom door)

This needs a poll. Why is there no poll?
This scene is awful, but better than the garbage it was a year ago.

If there is something over there and we dont have it... we cant complain neither troll or requests answers because nobody is forced to release whatever they have Also... there will be always people that has other purposes than this being a "hobby"... some ones looks for a job, others for money... this part is the sadly "real life"... but in other point of view this has one benefit that is we can "crack" his product.... they crack sony and we crack them... is a fair play (and in the process they are developing new features) About what we read in forums.... i always thought that haters/trolls in forums are only around a 5% of the amount of the users of homebrew releases The other 95% is grateful people that has nothing negative to say (and most of them doesnt even write in forums) This is the positive part developers must not forget, if this is a hobby keep doing it
