I'm reading through it right now, and it indeed say how to prepare an image to the external through TM (not something we don't already know, but anyway), but haven't actually gotten to a point where they explayn how to run it. I really hope for an updateless solution, 'cause my RE6 is waithing for me :D. As for the BD video playback, I doubt that there's a way to return in DEX, but who cares, there's Showtime.

im reading pdf2 at the moment...loading from device(page 27/28) never knew about this...you can point target manager to any device BD-dvd /external hd to run a eboot.bin ...i thought we could only run .self files ...gonna check this out

Yes, you could actually run a retail (not fself) EBOOT from an external device, like a PC for example, but it spits out this error - 0x80028f14, so I'm assuming the game has to be first converted to HDD Game, because the explaination of the error connects to it. Will do some testing with a retail 4.+ game and see what will it make out of it.
