Don't expect that since sony hate ps3 developers, but you have ps3 media center, it's not the same, but works fine it's what i use at the moment.
Btw what i want at the moment it's a cfw or a method to go back to 3.55 without flasher, since i don't what to open my ps3.
If a downgrade method without a flasher is released then i il be the most happy guy on the universe :P

I thought that the dongles could always get you into service mode......it was getting back out of service mode is what I thought the problem with it was.

a 4.2 CFW doesnt bring anything new to the table for US, the people who have a CFW PS3. The thing is, a 4.2 CFW can allow non-downgradeable to be jailbroken and they will be also able to use homebrew on their

But...if the rumors are true, and this new CFW can only be installed from 3.55, then NO...we dont need a new CFW.

Either way...if a 4.2 CFW was actually made...it means the LV0 was succesfully decripted?

Imo it's just an hybrid firmware made with dex firmware, so no new keys, the only difference i can tell right know is the peek & poke in comparison with dex firmware.
But well we will see, but i don't expect to be a Very Big thing to the scene.

The PC I'm using is old and ain't capable of transcoding videos from the PC to PS3, so I'm using this little device:

It does look a lot like a PS3 Slim, like a Mini PS3 Slim. And does more than a legit PS3 Slim does.

I just simply transfer the video files to the USB and then watch them on it, no longer any need to convert or have subtitles burned in to the video.

Unfortunately I can't watch Spanish TDT channels. -.-"
