I think you must have been living under a rock for the past 3 months.
Fifa 13 got a fix some days ago and anyone that converted to dex can play Darksiders and Sleeping Dogs plus any other game that has got an update patch(Resident Evil 6 will be next, it's just a question of time).
There won't be any more TB fixes EVER because the team bailed hard time, so yes, you have no reason to be on TB firmware anymore since it's useless.

No not under an rock my ps3 was broken i bought a new one. As far as i knew only TB could play newer games. I will check for the "how to/tutorial" converting to dex thanks! By the way is it difficult to convert?

The process to convert has been simplified A LOT but you still have to follow all the steps very carefully if you don't want to brick.
It's recommended to have a hardware flasher like e3 and progskeet before proceeding but if you are confident and careful enough it's totally doable even without one.
I did it without one and it was when the process wasn't so simple like now.

P.S. If your ps3 is a nand model you have to know that it's very risky to reconvert again from dex to cex.

oke thanks i will check if i have an nand model im not sure how but it should be on google. If i have dex why would i want reconvert to cex?

p.s i also have an slim ps3 with latest ofw so i can play sleeping dogs and darksiders 2

Dex can play any backup game that has got an official update patch from sony plus any retail disk game up to fw 4.21(pretty much any game up until now) so, to answer your question, the much discussed 4.21 cfw is pretty much useless for now but they already promised an update to 4.25 and future games will require the newer firmware.
For now those who want a new cfw are those who are too scared or insecure to convert to dex.

There is not really a reason apart from not being able to see bd movies on dex ,which you can just rip and use showtime to see them, but you never know if in the future there will be a motive to reconvert.
