Users will always have USB transfer. Most famous cloud storage are secure. It is PS3 saves we are talking about and not credit card or banking information. So I believe it is fine.

I meant it's good for PS Plus members because they don't go over the limit, whereas PS3 hacked users can pirate every single game (if possible) and then it's needed to have more than 2 GB for all game saves.

But still, 2GB is more than adequate for 70-80% of users with CFW PS3. I am sure if this app is even made, I believe there could be a feature where we could also add local FTP sync.

Alright guys, I'm sorry for not posting any updates on this thread. But I've been working on the proto since the day I posted.
I'll cut the story short by saying that the development road hasn't been smooth so far. One of the biggest hurdles has been getting help about PSL1GHT. But right now, I'm working on getting SSL support integrated into PSL1GHT for Curl. The current toolchain compiles it without SSL support and that's not good enough because all Service providers (Dropbox, Google) etc use Oauth over HTTPS. I'll post more here, if I have something worthy to share. If anybody can help me with PSL1GHT HTTPS support. I'd really appreciate it. Last edited by M.H.A.Q.S.; 02-17-2013 at 08:55 AM. |
