Then for running ISOs just use the PSP/Vita FTP server and with a PC counterpart such as FlashFXP etc., simply create a folder named "ISO" in the root and then put your ISOs in there with everything in capitals/upper case and no more than 8 characters or it will not work. This rule also applies to homebrew ZIPs including the file extensions (.ISO or .ZIP).

Everything I have tested has worked like a charm, mad props to Total_Noob and others involed who made this possible and a big FU to Sony for allowing the Japanese to play their already-bought PSP games and not having to pay of them AGAIN unlike the rest of the world, pr*cks.
Now we just need support for other regions (USA)

Indeed...I've heard over in Japan that many titles have been even offered for free using the UMD passport program...no wonder we never hear about it anywhere else in the world. Sony's reason for it was due to "pricing"...wtf.

well, the umd passport might be nightmare for Sony to offer, they need probably a lot of resources for little results (but it s good in terms of image)
Last time i checked about this service, it was not free and i don t think people should blame Sony to give this kind of "bonus" service and not being able to make it world wide.
It ll be like Sony blaming people to don t come to Japan, buy PSP and game and transfer them on their ps vita or blame the user in US. UE... because they ll try to con the service.

Yeah I see what you're saying, but I remember when it first came out many games were $2-$3 for example and I have read on various forums that some games over the last 10 months have been made available for free once the game has been verified via the UMD Passport scheme.

I live in the UK and on the PS Store here, I have just checked that GTA: LCS for example is £12 and I remember it was £20 when it was first available 6 months ago which is ridiculous considering I have already purchased a copy of that game.

I just think they should've given a lot of discounts to people who invested in a PSP and bought games for it.

here is guide and tutorial for this cfw :

- Instructions
* At first you go straight to the PSN Store and DOWNLOAD URBANIX AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
You're lucky if you already own this mini/if the mini hasn't been removed yet.
YOU CAN GET IT FOR FREE WITH AN EU ACCOUNT: https://www.facebook.com/SonyPlaysta...23711397642076
else just buy it.

* Extract the "NPEZ00176" folder to "PSSAVEDATA" and copy the new savedata to your PSVita with CMA.
* Launch Urbanix game and after the savedata loading the screen should be flashed WHITE, before it automatically starts "TNMenu 0.1".

- About "Custom Emulator Firmware "CEF" 6.60 TN-A"
Actually it isn't correct to call it "CEF 6.60 TN-A", because the kernel is always 6.60, but changes are within the PSVita Firmware. But anyways, it doesn't matter how the CFW is called.
--This "CEF" does NOT have anything to configure yet. All configurations of the previous Custom Firmwares are not available, as they are not useful for "CEF".
--It DOES NOT support PSX. By emulating 6.60 pops modules I get PSX working, but there is no sound, so better let it be.

Features:
* Possibility to load unsigned homebrews and modules.
* Possibility to load plugins (NPEZ00176/GAME.TXT, NPEZ00176/POPS.TXT).
* Possibility to play ISO/CSO with March33 and Sony NP9660 driver.
* Possibility to get back to TNMenu by holding the START BUTTON for some seconds.
* "CEF" renames "EBOOT.PBP" to "FBOOT.PBP".
* Protects you from removing license files. If these files get removed, you have to download the game from PSN Store again.
So you may lose "CEF" for Urbanix, if the game already has been removed.

- About "TNMenu 0.1"
This menu is developed with OSLib. IT IS STILL IN DEVELOPMENT, so it may have some bugs.

Control:
* /\ to delete a file.
* X to install a homebrew, or to load a homebrew/game. (by pressing R TRIGGER you load backup in march33 mode, else in sony np9660 mode)
* Arrows to move.

Prepare homebrews:
* Create an ZIP archive of the homebrew, saved as: "FILENAME.ZIP/PSP/GAME/THISISAHOMEBREW/EBOOT.PBP".
* "FILENAME.ZIP" can be saved somehow, it just MUST BE UPPER CASE LETTER and the filename can ONLY BE 8 CHARACTERS LONG.
* Save the archives all in the "NPEZ00176" folder.

Install ISO/CSO:
You cannot copy ISO/CSO with TNMenu yet. In the next version I'll add this feature.
* Prepare and install PSPFiler 6.6.
* Copy ISO/CSO to the "NPEZ00176" folder, UPPER CASE LETTER, 8 CHARACTERS LONG.
* Copy/Move the backup file to "ms0:/ISO/" with PSPFiler.
* Play it from TNMenu.

Ugh, can you please be more specific about the PSP/Vita server and using FlashFXP ets..? I don't understand and I'd be thankful if you could break that down for me. Thanks if you help.

Just Google "Vita FTP" (I got mine from zload), then put that on your Vita via Content Manager Assistant and then extract via the exploit in Urbanix...then get a FTP client for your PC such as FlashFXP. Once you have done all of that, run the Vita FTP server and it will give you an IP address (make sure you're connected with USB the whole time) and then enter that address into your PC FTP app and you can then transfer your ISOs or other files to your Vita.
