Why is that, pray tell? Why is it, that this community -- and similar ones -- thinks, that just because something exists, it will be handed to them?

Again, just because someone tells a small circle of people (a sub-scene, if you will) that they have found an exploit, and then, through possibly unwanted exposure, it ends up on sites like this, it doesn't mean it was ever meant to be publicly released. Or, heck, the person/group can change their mind. Either way, you aren't entitled to it, and you simply can't rely on the kindness of strangers.

And you aren't entitled to tell us what we are or are not entitled to.

Are you really, truly going to argue that you are entitled to receive something you haven't paid for, and which is created by someone who has no contractual or otherwise binding obligation to do so?

I smell someone playing devil's advocate to get brownie points with the masses.

As not every unreleased thing will be used for profit, that's a moot point.

But.. I don't support dongles, or their makers. I have never bought one, and never will. But their money grubbing ways don't affect me, so I also don't care about them.

Funny, though: the "crime" only seems to become a problem for you, when you have to pay for it. You expect criminals to have morals and community (social based) values. Hah.

There are hardly any worthwhile Vita games out, it's not hard to understand why this shouldn't have been released now.

Well I'm not afraid to say that I'm in it for the games as is I would say 90% of the people here. But I don't believe that a person that has an exploit should profit from it's release. profiting from a crime is what get's big companies pissed not the fact that there software has been cracked.

Beg to differ in that point if the one who found the exploit wants to *Encapsulate* it and make business, is his problem, ethics, morals.
See what happened with Bluedisk and red team.

It's a matter not of time more of chance, we are full of opportunists and honestly? i don't blame them.
Ignorance is a bliss but when you see it in so much *quantity* is being blind. (Paradox)
If the one who spend his time doing some serious research and wants to profit, fine by me it's not my ass after all, neither my pocket.

Eventually someone will leak something and then magic happens!
From that point, US as a community of users see that *dev* or have proof that *dev* indeed is seeking business instead of sharing it's up to the vox populi to decide. Hang it or leave it to die..
