You haven't paid to type on this forum, so you aren't entitled to do so.
Also why the f*ck should anyone pay for any hack.

And I'm not playing the devils advocate nor looking for any brownie points, I personally think you are a dick head full of self entitlement issues.

See what happened with Bluedisk and red team.

It's a matter not of time more of chance, we are full of opportunists and honestly? i don't blame them.
Ignorance is a bliss but in so much *quantity* is being blind.
If the one who spend his time doing some serious research and wants to profit, fine by me it's not my ass after all, neither my pocket.

Eventually someone will leak something and then magic happens!
From that point, US as a community of users see that *dev* or have proof that *dev* indeed is seeking business instead of sharing it's up to the vox populi to decide. Hang it or leave it to die..
Point taken. But when they do stuff like sell there work(dongles) it brings the wrath of sony on our asses. and only serves to hurt the scene. Look at nintendo did they constantly come out with update after update when the system was cracked? no. why because there was no profit in it for the dev's that shared there work for free and only nintendo made profit from increased sales of the wii.

Exactly, which is why at any given time you can terminate my account, for no reason whatsoever. I am very aware of that fact. What does that have to do with anything, though?

Again, what? What does this have to do with my question?

Sony long ago stepped out of chasing asses, they don't give a damn about happened with DRM devices neither they care about the outcome of those devices.
They feed them in exchange of a simple policy = Legal Piracy. (Another paradox).

If they sell their work is because they don't want to hold it anymore or keep it in secret. In some way of thinking is logical, if you found a gold mine on a desert will you tell everyone what you found? would you share the gold because you want to share? or you will sell it? to get more profits of your discovery?.

It's the same pattern. Like i said i don't blame them, sony long ago stop from chasing devs or sites for reasons that back in time sues were a big problem.
You saw any recent sue to anyone releasing something?, or just to be more specific you see someone get SUED by leaking DEX and the KEYS?.
I don't.

If it's wrong or right on cyberspace nobody cares.
You can have morals, ethics but they can blend (there you have the sellouts).
Depends on how you see one situation and then the whole picture.

Another thing if you think out of the box a little, instead of your research end leaked is better you get some bucks from it, there you have the magical formula = DRM.

In fact, Nintendo did it (keep update after update against hack) on wii (and probably on DS/3Ds but i don t know in details)
I m attach to Nintendo for some reason but when it come to hack/ friendly user, Sony did much more fair game than Nintendo (or Microsoft).

Again, just because someone tells a small circle of people (a sub-scene, if you will) that they have found an exploit, and then, through possibly unwanted exposure, it ends up on sites like this, it doesn't mean it was ever meant to be publicly released. Or, heck, the person/group can change their mind. Either way, you aren't entitled to it, and you simply can't rely on the kindness of strangers.
True we aren't entitled to their work but they made us know that they had something we(the whole scene) wanted, intentionally or not, and then pulled some crappy piracy excuse to not share it.

At that point, one thing we ARE entitled to is treating them like sh*t and they shouldn't even complain if a leak happens because they did everything they could to deserve it.

If you are never gonna release anything for the scene then do not call yourself a scene dev, just keep quiet and be satisfied with your accomplishments.

On 3DS is the same, last update rendered obsolte most of the Carts.
Nintendo has 0 tolerance towards hacking but Wii is the most *violated* product on the market in terms of piracy.

Sony fair game?, strip their own product until render useless too?!? xD
From Other0s they are managing to **** it up more.

1. Every developer is free to do keep for himself his work and have egotrips, but we are also free to hate him for it and do our best to destroy him.

2. A person that doesn't make public his work is practicaly not a developer even if he gives POC, he is just another egoist that knows somekind of programming language and plays in his bedroom untill his mom comes to tell him that if he doesn't go to bed now she will hide his laptop.

3. We had enough of those cheap formulated excuses those corrupt developers put out in public. It's not like anyone believes you, it's not like anyone is sorry for you but even better NOBODY CARES.

Total Noob's CFW makes this leak invalid. It uses a different Kexploit than Coldbird's too.

This is a bad leak!
Whether its pointless or not coz of TN CFW coldbird is a good guy from my dealings with him and didn't deserve this!
Don't spew that crap about 1337 devs holding **** back he WOULD have released when he was ready.
He open sourced PSP CFW ffs.
He had his reason s and they are perfectly valid.
I've got friends in the industry and the main reason the PSP didn't get f*ck all developed for it was because every idiot with half a brain could hack it.
Killing off part of the vitas income source this early on whilst its already struggling is only gonna shorten its life span.
Besides that their genuinely are people who don't care for piracy :O
Some people who genuinely don't want to allow it or have their name associated with allowing it.. that's a personal choice and who are you guys to sh*t on that.
