I am thinking of getting a ps3key.
If I do which firmware should the ps3key have ?
Alternately, I have a psp, do you know if the psp jig works in the downgrade process ? It's not shown in the wiki.http://www.ps3devwiki.com/wiki/Talk:...PSgrade_Dongle

Anything that puts a PS3 into Factory Service Mode (i.e. a psp with the "JIG" software) will work for you.

If you are going to use the PSP as a JIG then you must have your PSP on CFW 5.50 GEN D for it to work.

Otherwise, I would just suggest getting the PS3key as it is less than $10 now. Once you have purchased the PS3key then you will get a serial key with it that allows you to go to their website www.ps3key.com and download the "JIG firmware", which is all you will need.

1. How to downgrade (device name) from 4.25 to 3.55 with this model console?
2. Will it be possible in the event of a successful firmware feature dual boot with E3 Flasher Limited?

You cannot use the E3 flasher to downgrade any console with the SKU less than CECH-H.......since you have a CECH-A then you will need to downgrade using a Progskeet.
