Hello everyone. My name is I At0m1x I,new to the webiste and I just bought a brand new PS3
super slim.Now my question is it hackable?I am a n00000000b so go easy on me first time ever to own a PS3.....now as you may know the model starts with CECH-4000 but the most interesting thing about this is the System version.Now I own a PSP so I know how it works,but when a new console design comes out it should be on the Latest firmware 4.25.So when I looked up the system version I saw 4.20,I was like What?????how can it be possible???not 4.25????

Does that mean that I can Jailbreak the Ps3 new model? in my opinion its not hackable NOW!!!, but later because it has a new motherboard design.Remember the PSP-3000 couldn't be hacked cos of the motherboard?but now it can.

So please tell me what should I do I mean should I wait or should I update???

Ohh forgot to mention the Ps3 zuper slim came with God of war 3,Uncharted 3 GOTY and GT5 academy edition....Hard drive 500 GB

all the ps3 are hackable, however no one developed one yet.

The Motherboard of the PSP-3000+ can't be hacked it's the software itself which was hacked.

Soon with the PS3 Scene improving there might be a software solution.
Some people have decrypted a couple things in 4.20 though so soon (probably longer than you expect) there might be a 4.20 CFW.

For now no its currently not hackable, the only hackable models are the older fat ps3s and the older slims, with firmware 3.55, this current version of slims is also currently not downgradable since factory firmware is 4.20, just to point that factor out.

any chance if I can put PSN PS1 games from my PSP to my ps3.....the games are downloaded off the internet also PSP is CFW

no you can't. Since they are pirated you can't put them on OFW PS3 4.20

I have confirmation from a reliable source that there is in fact a"behind the curtains" 4.31 CFW that will install on 3.56+ OFW and even on the newer conosles.
Of course this is as always "trusted inner circle only" which I believe and hope is for testing and debugging and not for withholding just for the sake of withholding.
Yes i know ps3hax is all tits or GTFO but hey, this source (dev who I will NOT name)was right about the 4.30 CFW that noone officially knew about before DeanK started hinting of 4.21 support in multiman and Rogero dropped the 4.30 CFW so I'm confident and have hope and faith.
