I´m not COMPLAINING about dev´s releasing stuff or not. Hiding something or not ... lying or not.

BUT ...

The only thing I do not understand is ...

why is the PS3 scene, the only scene where all the haters / flamers / n00bs / complainers are?

I don´t get it ... look at the XBox scene ... or even Wii / PSP etc. ...
there´re no dev´s who cheats each other ... complaining each other ...
trying to make profit of there work ... or even talk bull****.
(maybe there are, but it´s not THAT public like PS3 scene!)

Don´t get me wrong ... i´m always open for more ... more games, more CFW, more features ... BUT also for knowledge of doing things like CEX->DEX, downgrading, etc.
I´m no engeneer, nor i´m a dev.
but if I don´t have the knowledge to do such things, there are always some sort of tutorial in the internet to read.
I like the n00b-way of such things, too ... it´s most easier and faster but i´m not COMPLAINING if it takes TIME !!!

So everyone please stop this HATE / COMPLAINING ...

It's such a disappointment that in this scene is no longer together, but only even against each other, works.

(Sorry for my bad english, i´m from germany ... normaly i am a passiv reader of this forum, but i have to say, what i think about all this.)

@SonyWanze I don´t think it's the fault of the scene itself. It has more to do with frustration.
After 1 year without a definitive solution to play current games, the same thing will probably happen with other "good" scenes (people taking advantage of the desperation of others included) .

The psp scene was not exactly a happy place when it was stucked on 5.x firmware depending on eboot fixes.

Surely with a flasher someone could install the new cfw on a 3.55+ fw that can not be downgraded to 3.55.

Not sure on that but I think you can only go as low as the FIRST firmware that came on the PS3 from factory.
I don't have a clue about flashers as I have never needed one so haven't read up on it.

@rorymullan .. What @JonahUK said is correct
UNLESS youre a crypto expert and can fix NPDRM signing but then we could install homebrew on any official FW anyway so it wouldnt matter unless youre just after teh isooos

Its made worse by not being able to dg from the upcoming 4.30 FW even with a flasher.
Well you can with some modification but you'll have an unrecoverable brick when you turn your PS3 back on
