Question [HELP] I need 60GB nand file.. please

Hello everyone.
I've converted my 60GB PS3 to DEX, and now i'm on 3.55DEX
When i converted it, i made a backup of, if im not wrong, my console nand.
So what happens?
I forgot to save the CEX nand on my external HDD when i've formatted my laptop to install Windows 8, and know i'm stuck on DEX FW.

Can anyone please post his/her PS3 CEX nand of a 60GB model, so i can convert it back to CEX, to install 3.55 OFW and then update it to 4.25?

Or is there another way to go back do CEX?

Thanks

The backup is unique to your PS3, you can't just use somebody else's backup.

If you have your DEX .bin you used to flash, you could be able to convert that to CEX as the only thing (technically) that changes is the Console ID.

I don't know if anyone has done that though.

Do you have the DEX flash that you used to convert the console? You can use this file to convert it to CEX by changing the Target ID in c2d.exe to any CEX region.

At least it is possible in NOR backups, I believe it works too in NAND backups.

I only have the tutorial step by step, and have lost the files i think.
Later im going to try and see if i can do anything.
You're saying that, i can use c2d.exe to convert a DEX nand flash, to a CEX nand flash? Sorry for my bad english, just trying to learn how to do it.
Isn't there any way to get that nand flash with multiman 4.06?

When i press any file to view with hex editor, and then i press select if im not wrong, and then start, it asks 2 questions about gameOS dump, LV1, and then another question to dump flash to a file, and it creates a 239mb file.

Does it means something? Can i use this?

I'm using this moment 3.55 itskamel DEX FW, with 4.25 spoof, and its working online, just changed from sp-int to np.

Can anyone help me?

If you don't have your files backed up your screwed! They are console specific!

Yes, that's what I am talking about.

But since you don't even have the DEX flash, I don't know if you can dump your flash now with DEX FW or even if it's valid (NAND dumped from software have 239MB of size, I don't know if you can use it to change the values in Target ID and flash it to the console, even if it's only the EID0 section).

Whatever if you can do it or not, it's very dangerous to convert the console back to CEX if you don't have a hardware flasher.

Can't i change another NAND, from a 60GB, changing the required files or ID's?

How do people convert original DEX to a retail PS3? Isn't there a way, that i can use it?

I have a hardware flasher just in case.. So, what do you recomend me to do step by step, please?

I don't want to buy another motherboard =S on ebay, if i can change this one... just want to buy another board if thats that last option i had.

You can try to dump the flash using MemDump or (multiMAN?), dump eid_root_key by using EID_RKDumper.pkg (I don't know if it works on DEX, but you can try) and use those files in c2d.exe to change the Target ID to any CEX region.

After that, you can rename the file to CEX.EID0.NANDBIN and flash it on multiMAN. After that, you'll need to install a CEX firmware.

But remember, I can't guarantee to you it will work, this can brick your console! I recommend you to stay in DEX to avoid any problem.
