right this is what i thought ppl were missing about your question.

if you have the origional bdvd's then they should work no problem.

but you have "backups" right

i think showtime will play them (not 100% sure) but go into multiman and try playing them via showtime (its intergrated into multiman)

if it doesnt work then i think your going to have to buy a bdvd rom for your pc so you can rip the movie.

or do a search for "backing up homemade bdvd to ps3" or something like that

No my movies are not original discs they are buckup Blu-ray discs , And I tried showtime but it can't read the folders of disc and can't recognize the containing files at all in the bdvd , Is there any hope in the future for available fix working from bdvd soon ?

unfortunatly the files for bypassing this was taken from a debug unit but the debug units dont use the drive at all so there are no files for the bdvd so that leaves no patch for the bdvd now or in the future

if the movies also have dts for sound, choose that, because i'm told that dts can't have cinavia protection.

i just thought you where trying to watch a backup from a bluray movie, and most movies have also besides AC3, DTS for audio.

in AC3 there can be cinavia, but not in DTS, never had a problem anyway because i only get movies that have DTS, and i play them from hdd, not from the drive.

if you press triangle while watching the movie, you can check if there are any other audio formats to choose from.

Yes I have a backup movie now which Cinavia muting its audio everytime I play it , but not in my internal hdd its in a Blu-ray disc so i'm trying to play it from PS3 drive bdvd .

And as I knew yesterday there's no fix available at the present time to solve Cinavia problems from the PS3 driver , But for internal HDD/USB stick the problem was solved with an appropriate fixing .
