it shows a black phat ps3 but the version my psp shows is a all red thumbnail with a slim on it ? i mean i hvae a slim but maybe the version of ps3jig i have is like, not authentic ? or something? :\

no because i heard prome 4 is okay? but hm should i install gend3 then..? i dont even know how to downgrade from prom4 >< lmao seems like so mcuh work then what if it still doesnt work D:

Make sure you plug the psp in the farthest right port? IDK.  It seems to work for some and not for others. I know I have used mine on over 100 PS3s, and have never had a problem.
