Man I've been trying to get this to work for 2 straight days now non stop countless try's I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. When I get to the part where you have to match CEX.bin and CEX_decrypt.bin they just don't match no matter how many times I go through it!

hello
first sorry for my bad english  i've converted my ps3 CECHK04 since end of july but i've lost my dump ( original not convert with C2dex ) when my computer died ,definitively ... so my question is : can i use a dump from my Dex to recover an original Dump in Cex ?thx a lot |

Has anyone followed this tutorial and accomplished this? The first problem I had after install of OpenSSL it had an error when I tried to run the first command warning can't open config file so I had to set the path of the config file with this command set OPENSSL_CONF=C:\PATH TO YOUR OPENSSL DIRECTORY\bin\openssl.cfg*
Then it runs fine. But after the third command string I can't get the two files idps to match up. Now on the third command string where it says EID0 First Section Key -iv what goes there? Do I open the EID0 first section key.bin in hex editor and put that info there or is it the first section from the nor_cex.bin opened in a hex editor? It says now we paste the entry in OpenSSL what entry and where sorry for the questions guys but I'm still trying to learn and I usually don't ask for much help. So if someone could help me through this it would be greatly appreciated. So I can get started on playing all these new games I've been purchasing. Because once I start something I won't stop until I accomplish it I think its because of my severe case of OCD so yeah I'm stuck right now lol. Last edited by slaughter; 10-05-2012 at 02:31 PM. |

what seems to be the problem?
1. Acquire PCK1 http://www.ps3devwiki.com/files/devt...D_RKDumper.rar 2. Transfer it from /dev_hdd0/tmp/ to your device of choice (Using multiman for example)/FTP it Out 3. Dump your flash with memdump. http://www.ps3devwiki.com/files/devt...mp_0.01-FINAL/ 4.Install c2d (v2 is better, it allows you to change region quickly) http://www.ps3devwiki.com/files/devt...ex/c2d/c2d-v2/ 5.c2d eid_root_key.bin flash_stor_355.bin flash(DEX,EUR,USA,KOR, you name it).bin (number of region ID, 82 for DEX) 6. rename your new dump (e.g flashDEX.bin) to flashDEX.EID0.NORBIN (in case you're using a nor console) or change to flashDEX.EID0.NANDBIN(in case you're using a nand console). 7. flash it with multiman (double "click" on it on mmOS). it'll give you a few warnings, say yes and flash the dump anyways. 8. restart the console. 9. you should be on DEX environment now. if you have qa flag, it won't work there. 10. flash a DEX pup. 11. you're set

Man now it seems the ps3 dev wiki is down for me. No matter what I try there is something prohibiting me frOm completing this task lol. Also does it shouldn't matter if I have a E3 clip installed right? I should still proceed with the same instructions.
************* [ - Post Merged - ] ************* When I tried eid rkdumper the screen went black and then I got triple beeps and my ps3 restarted and said the console wasn't shut down correctly. when I follow your way zecoxao its weird because when I did hellsing9's way I got my EID0 key and my EDI0 IV but the EID0 key and the EDI0 IV that i get when I use C2D with the 355cex.bin and RKdump.bin dont match. So im worried that the RKdump.pkg didn't work right when I ran on my ps3!
Guys I'm stuck doing this to my self  and I'm getting a really bad headache so yeah anyone please feel free to give me a hand.
