did you get your dump files checked out to insure they are without error sounds like you have a messed up backup

Take your original unpatched bios from when you where on the updated firmware and put them on your sd card and put them in the flasher. Make sure they are named bkpps3.bin . Then put switch 1 up and turn the console on. Then after a few seconds hit start on the flasher. Let the lights all light up. After they are back to flashing alternatively, then leave the console on. Take the sd card out and put it in the computer and put the e3downgrade.bin on the sd card with your bios. Leave bios on there. Then put it back into the flasher and put switch 6 up and 1 down. Then hit reset on the flasher. It is the red button underneath the sata input. Once the blue lights come back on hit start. Wait until the blue lights light up one by one until the alternate again. Then turn off the console by holding the power button down. Then turn it back on, and wait for a few seconds. The turn it off by pulling power or switching the switch. Then put in the fsm dongle and do the power eject. After it shuts off, put the USB with the lvl2 diag from step 1 folder and rogero.pup into right USB port and turn the console on. After it shuts off put the lvl2 step 2 on USB and put in right USB port and turn the console on. After it shuts off, turn the console back on with nothing in the USB ports and it should be fixed.
ok it all went through all the way to put the fsm dongle in and power on reset it doesnt turn the dongle it is the p3 gt-break. it seems like my usb ports are not working

When it comes to the point where you need to put in the fsm dongle and it doesn't seem to give you any power to the USB ports, try unplugging the e3 flasher from the ribbon cable and it should give power back to the USB ports. Leave the flasher plugged into the hard drive bay, but just unplugg the ribbon ontop of the flasher.

I already explained it step by step on the first page of this thread. The only difference is, if you get to the point where you have to put the fsm in, and it doesn't seem like the USB ports have power, then unplug the ribbon cable from the top of the flasher and then plug the flasher back into the hard drive bay so the ps3 will see the hard drive still. This should restore the power to the USB ports. If you get to the fsm dongle step and it lights the dongle up, then you won't need to unplug the ribbon cable from the flasher.

The ribbon cable on the top is the only thing that take in power on the ps3, because the flash fun mode is active.

The problem is i can't flash the ps3 nor to do a restore with my dump... I son't know why, but the e3 flashet tells me "failed to write ps3 bios". I have a linker, and it operates good up to my fast dualboot sequence, and a day i noticed it were detached, and my troubles begins.

I do everythin with success, but when i try to use the fsm dongle they dont start, my usb is dead. So i remove the ribbon cable of E3 flasher motherboard. The dongle start, but dont do the service, the PS3 shutdown before the blue light of the dongle show up.

what i can do ?
