What cfw? What does the system information say when you go to system setting/system information? Does it say something other than 3.55? You may have installed the cfw with a disc in the drive and then the update would come from the disc instead of the USB.

i didnt realise that your ps3 could install the firmware from a game disk does this also apply to backups would you suggest remove the update.pup from the game backups?

jeg har fornylig opdateret min ps3 fra true blues nyeste cfw og over til ultimate 3,55 spoofet 3,72.. jeg bruger recovery mode og fuld ender installationen med som den skal og min ps3 starter op som den skal men min install mappe som skal ligge på min ps3 så jeg kan installere mm blandt andet er væk.. jeg går self i panik og tror jeg har installert en forkert pup fil så jeg ser hvad min system info er og den siger 3,72 men det er jo min spoof så jeg prøver af smide 3.55 kmeaw og den opdatere den også fint men install mappen er der stadig ikke.. efter jeg har prøvet 6 -7 gange siger min ps3 at jeg ikke kan bruge pup filen så nu kan jeg ikke updatere mere
