If there was a problem with the installer... i have no idea, i imagine you has been talking with @andreus , maybe he found an explain

At this point i think you could use the option 6 in "recovery menu" as @lewy20041 suggested with a .PUP of your same firmware in a USB (you can still try)

It seems the brick happened when writing the flash_dump.bin im not sure, did you flashed this dump before and was verifyed working ?
Im not too used to unbricking sorry
Maybe this helps http://www.ps3devwiki.com/wiki/Boot_modi#Errors_on_boot

If the dump was working then there are still some hopes to unbrick it, there are tools to edit the dump in PC (e.g: to remove the syscon checks, this caused lot of bricks when changing CEX<--->DEX)
But at this point to flash the dump you need a flasher :/ (E3 or progskeet)

Basic DEX2CEX brick

debricking: take CEX dump and prepatch it with ps3devwiki downgrader patches. Then use Rogero lastest CEX PUP and install in service mode.

the reason it bricked was because there was no prepatching done.

My good friend andreus has asked me to request you to remove this news from the front page. It seems someone has softbricked his console.

This tool has a WIP status (work in progress)....

BTW andreus can't recover his password account on hax... could you help him?
