honestly, tip for alll.. dont panic LOL and when you get into service mode even tho it says 4.11 just use the exit fsm lv2 file and get out... and continue the process. worked for me lol.... BUT NOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW im trying to install multiman and theres so many files im confused LOL

Install the BASE and the BDEMU, thats all you need really.

It's an older version you have, current is 04.06.02 I think.

you just needed to exit fsm and then carry on following the guide

EDIT:: ``if you get the flashing green power light then this is due to the firmware not installing``` ............. my green light does flash or blink n shuts off so it means the firmwares not installing.... why =<

?? what did you do to get this as above you have installed the firmware and your in the xmb

omg edit again ..... but the log says update successs... whats going on ..

again what steps have you just done as you could get into the xmb above?

Rogero 3.1 is the 4.11 spoofed version. He must have used 3.1 for him to be baffled about 4.11.

@DEFAULTDNB the file you told me to use read off usb then now my ps3 isint doing anything but blinking green forever.... what the hell...

this could be due to the firmware you downloaded being corrupt (just re-download)
the usb stick your using might just need formating (they are prone to having bad areas or simply corrupting)(parts not being wrote to the stick propperly)
or you havent exited the fsm and de-hashed before trying to change firmwares.
its no big deal.

@DEFAULTDNB .....now no matter what pup i try to put it blinks green... it wont even do anything .... what did you do to my ps3 i try to turn it on normally and it turns off right away.... try the pup and lv2 and it blinks green forevver.... i guess its bricked? gee thanks default -____________- that file you gave me set me back 100 steps and idont know wht to do now...................

actualy you did it to your own system! default didnt come over and install it for you did he!
now when you decide to open a thread instead of staying in my guide and posting your problem then your going to get ppl like default coming in and doing there best to help you.
now default has great knowlage in all areas and due to this he is spread thin across all these areas.
now as your first post was written in a panic there is infomation missing that would had helped default diagnose the situation better so due to this he has given his best guess as to what needs doing.
so this is down to you.
next time give as much info and detail as to what you have done so ppl can help you better
also stay in the thread you followed so the correct people can give you better advice as these ppl in the thread will have probably had the same happen to them.

i assumed i had 3.2 but default has identified it as 3.1
this firmware is the one i know works on all consols for downgrading
so as it is just used for downgrading then its over wrote with ofw during de-hashing then i see no reason to update it in the "packs" i have.

and if it is your "baby" then you only have yourself to blame if something goes wrong.
you and only you put your "baby" at risk the moment you opened your ps3.
from that moment on what happenes is in your hands.
dont blame others for your choices!

just remember to de-hash or you will end up with a flashing red light and you will need to re-flash your console again.

I know my guide doesn't even say to boot up to rogero before exiting FSM. There is no reason for
