[Question] Installing raw 3.55 files to a blank hard drive
My friend and I are replacing the hard drive on his Ps3 with a slightly larger one and have been looking for a way to jailbreak it, While searching through the endless amounts of spam sites I had an idea. Is it possible to place the files from a Ps3 hard drive that has 3.55 installed onto a clean one to be jailbroken once in the Ps3, or even placing the cracked files on?

If only it was that easy. Firmware is written to the flash on the ps3 itself not just on the hardrive
