So I'm on OFW-DEX 4.21 can I change back and forth from DEX 4.21 back to CFW 3.55 then when I want to again come back to DEX 4.21 is it possible and if so whats the process of doing this any help will be appreciated.

yes you can, just use the downgrader 3.55 pup on the ps3devwiki.

Hello Thks for the reply just a quick question is this 3.55 Downgrade pup is it the Original firmware of 3.55 then if it is all I have to do from there is to install CFW 3.55 or is this 3.55 downgrade pup a actual CFW 3.55 any more information and help to answer this will be much appreciated. Also if I can go back to CFW 3.55 can I get back to OFW-DEX 4.21 when I want help answer this please as well .

the 355 downgrader pup is a special downgrader. then yes you can go back to 421 and then back down. just use the downgrader when you want to go back down. easy as flashing firmware is all it takes. no its not a cfw just a downgrader, however rogero does have a cfw downgrader.

So whats Special about this 3.55-Downgrader.pup since it isn't CFW 3.55 which You mentioned in the above comment does this DOWNGRADER put Me on Firmware that will still allow me to play PS3 games from MY External USB HDD using Multiman such games like Batman Arkham City GOTY Edition and others...

any help to answer this above question will be very much Appreciated.

no it will not, you will then have to switch to a cfw with peek and poke to play backups. all the downgrader pup lets you do is get back to 3.55 from a 355+ firmware. unless like i said that you use "Rogero" 355 downgrader with peek and poke then you would be able to downgrade from 421 or whatever firmware and be on 355 and have backups play.

355 downgrader from wiki = downgrader pup only
355 rogero downgrader = cfw + downgrader
