But does it show the temps during any gameplay, the time when the temp are at their highest, so when you are in a game you can see when to take a break, or at least when your PS3 needs a break :P

Or can it show up by pressing the PS button?

@MARA87 : You'll find it HERE.

But remember: "DEX versions are for 4.00-4.21 DEX. On 3.55DEX CFW use the CEX version of mM."

1 question: why > "DEX versions are for 4.00-4.21 DEX. On 3.55DEX CFW use the CEX version of mM."

Fselfed eboots are fselfed eboots right? it should work on any dex?

EDIT: anyway, tested and working fine on dex 3.55 with peek/poke.

cools stuff...

btw, the temps are not 100% real time, and you won't get to see stress test during a game.

I added stress test to Solar 4.3(high cpu processing and polygon buffering) with fail-safe, to get readings under high load, it'll be in the next release, hopefully next week.

Yikes, 64C for the CPU.

If these numbers are indicative of (I'm assuming) a slim PS3, I can only imagine what temperatures the launch model PS3's Cell and RSX ran at. No surprise then that without proper maintenance and upgraded parts (e.g. 19 blade fan, APS-226/231 PS, MX4 Thermal Paste) the vast majority - by now - have YLOD'd.

Could be a variety of things.

- dust buildup
- thermal paste dried out
- your fan is a 15 blade version
- although I highly doubt it, you somehow ended up with a ZSSR5391A power supply

I highly suggest you check out the following website created specifically for early generation PS3s (60gb launch models aka CECHA01s up to your CECHG04 even though it says G01, G04 is just a different region with the same guts with one possible exception regarding your power supply). It has everything covered in helping you avoid a possible YLOD:
