Looking at these. What are some things to look for? Like, on ps3 you need certain models. What the story on these? How can I make sure to get one that is hack able?

All PSP's and PSP Go's Can be hacked. But only certain PSP 3000's (Bright's) Can be Downgraded to 6.20 to have Perma-patch
Get one Used.

All PSP's are hackable to a certain degree...
The original psp1000 (Phat) can run full cfw on various firmwares and responds to a pandora battery and magic memory stick (custom ipl)
The first update to the Phat is the psp2000 (Slim) - It comes in two distinct variants: The earlier versions can run full cfw like the Phat; The later versions (with the TA088v3 motherboard) do respond to pandora battery but NOT custom ipl. They can only run light cfw
The second update to the Phat is the psp3000 (Brite) which can ONLY run light cfw and does not respond to a pandora battery
The last Update in the psp series is the GO and like the later 2000 and 3000 models can ONLY run lite cfw
The final model in the PSP range is the E1000 (Street) which is a stripped down variant of the 3000 and like the 2000, 3000 and GO's can use lite cfw ONLY

CFW (1000 - early 2000) on 5.00, 5.50 and 6.60 firmwares
LCFW (late 2000, 3000, GO, Street) on 6.20, 6.35, 6.39 and 6.60 firmwares (model dependent)

You can have (L) CFW on your system which is Light and pretty much do the same thing as mot CFWs for the other PSPs
Yes, i remember. LCFW is fine.. just needed to refresh my memory havent touched a PSP for some time. Thanks though.
