as long as you have QA flaged the cfw then you can change the firmware
just boot up the 3.55cfw and update via the internal storage option in the xmb
its recomended to go to 3.55ofw then to 3.55cfw to stop you having any problems.

can i enter service mode in ps3 4.25? using the psgrade method, using the Eclips3? if thats possible then downgrading via PsGrade on 4.25 is possible?

you can enter fsm on any firmware
the problem is the fsm files have the 3.55 keys so they work in 3.55 and below.

so if you enter fsm above 3.55 your stuck there and you can never come back out as the files do not work above 3.55.

so you will have a nice brick

Condor updater is an easy way to install OFW 3.55, while dehashing Qa way. It is in my guide.

It saves you the steps of getting to the recovery menu, the old fashion way.

Yeah, I missed it for awhile too, but condor replied in my guide and told me about it. Anything to save steps makes it easier in my opinion.

So when I install toggle qa, I install condor updater at the same time. Then toggle Qa, and then open condor and it gives you that pseudo recovery and u only have to hit start and select to install ofw 3.55. Then install cfw from xmb and toggle Qa off. Then delete the apps if you want.

thats a NOR not a NAND lol

does it freeze only when you have (static timing) set or does it freeze when you have (Ready Triggered Timing) set aswell?

have you removed the R7 resistor? it needs to be removed.

in the guide (flashing the ps3)
i say (turn on ps3 then plug in the progskeet) try turning on the ps3 then waiting 10-15 seconds before plugging in the progskeet. see if that works better.

i take it you can dump CFI ?

you just need 1 earth so having 2 is more than enough.

you will get some verify errors this is why you need to repeat the steps untill you get (nothing to flash) message but not all of it.

Freezes on static timing yes mainly on verify I have tried lots of combos

I do wait 10 seconds befor plugging progskeet in and yes I can get CFI

Ready triggered timing is the only setting it will complete on although it errors on the verify on every address

Can I power the nor from progskeet??

An just at a lose end any other suggestions will be much help thank you
