ok @playerkp420 is the best to ask about the pspjig as i have never got this to work.

as for the brick fix.

connect the progskeet and make sure every wire is attached correctly.
connect 3.3v (may also be vcc on the diagrams) from prog to vcc (may be nor vcc) on ps3

plug in progskeet

progskeet should be detected by the pc

click (dump cfi) if this fail's then your wiring is wrong

click dump (to compare you dump) if you get a bad dump then check your wiring

wiring at this point is what all faults are created by
that includes the usb cable. the usb may work with other devices but the progskeet is super sensitive so try another usb cable (the shorter the better)

I afterward unplugged the powersource ( not the cable. I open up my ps3 and unplugged the entire powercurcit ) and now there is no power at all.

What can be done? Plzzzzz help....

using the e3 flasher limitied
why have you removed the power supply?
put it back and it will boot.
no power >>>>> no boot

Rewired again all ok I can post pics If you want

With r7 open and console plugged in I get CFI I have fc the one I originally got when I dumped the console and got 8 good dumps and there the same

With r7 and console not plugged in I get doesn't start with qry

can you try this step with a different usb cable. its as though there is not enough power getting to the NOR to power it

With r7 open and pluged in I flash and it adds lots of fffffffff (I read it back to see what just written)

the ffff's is due to bad wiring there "fail's" / "corrupted sections" created by incorrect wiring / dead solder / shorts / damaged track / faulty usb cable

With R7 closed It just hangs forever

not enough power to the NOR change usb cable

When I erase with r7 open and plugged in it comes back as nothing but ff ff ff ff

When I erase with r7 closed it just hangs (even if I make two cups of tea)

When I flash it's like it's not flashing all the 00 they stay as ff's I have tested for shorts all over with multimeter and scopes

When I flash on static timing it hangs but when I read Nor where it hung it flashed correct to that point
ok try a new usb cable
like this one for the extra power line
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/USB-DUAL-P...item2c67353a2a

or one thats about 10cm 4inch long

but the thing worrying me is that they sent me message saying:

so i dont know if it will be compitable..
this is a multimeter
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-DT830B...item256c6a120b

there is no diagram for the 1.2 yet so when they have one saying what solder pad on the progskeet 1.2 goes where then you can wire that header board propperly

@baileyscream ah I understand now , I'll get a multimeter later , but now I'll search for the clip I showed you earlier , my concern was if it wasn't gonna fit/work on the new progskeet .

you could attach the NOR clip to the NOR

then attach the pin headder board to the clip

then trace the pin heads to the test points on the ps3

then using jumper wires attach the pin headder to the progskeet 1.2's solder points

like how i did the TEENSY++ (see the guide)

i think i will do this for the progskeet NOR guide as it will be easer to leave the pin headder free then to remove the trace on the NOR clip

Oh so you have it already , didn't know . But I read somewhere that if you use the nor clip on different ps3s it will be damage , but I don't care about the clip , I want the header board the most , I'll see your guide first and then decide what way to use . , Any news about it ? The 1.2 guide ?
