You are a bit of an ass hole arent you, perhaps you are not mentally capable enough of understanding why USB 3 is not used, one reason is because it is not needed, USB3 is far faster than the BD Drive and to have something run that fast could get it easily detected. Anyhow no need to be a dick, to someone who is smarter than you by a million miles. |

Gregory...I take great care not to insult people because of their opinion. You, on the other hand, take great pleasure in doing this because you like to hide behind a keyboard. I am quite capable in understanding the nuances between USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 transfer rate and possible detection. However....if you read the wasabi specs, you will notice that they use eSata for the external disk where the ISOs are stored and the transfer rate is incredible. loading a game is very very fast, and you would think that something like this would be implemented to take advantage of the much larger game size of a BD. The wasabi team and the Xkey team do not recommend playing online because of banning, so if you install one of this, then you take your chances that Sony will not find a way to detect this sometime in the future. That is to what I am referring about. Your other commentators took it upon themselves to hurl insults and innuendos without even bothering to find out more about my comment. Then to add insult to injury, you take their side because I defended myself. Tsk, tsk, tsk. I think you need to learn to moderate better.
anyhow, no need to be dick, to someone who is smarter than you by a million miles ciao bello. |

Sorry if anyone already answered this, but, wouldn't it be possible to just take the BR Drive from a 4.XX PS3, plug it into a 3.55 CFW PS3, retrieve the drive key, and then just plug it back to the original PS3 ?
