YES,If you have a motherboard COK-001, using progskeet 3.3v to power nand,if you've got SEM-001 then use an external psu 3.3v to power nand because needs more power to nand.

I need to know this as well, i tried the heat gun fix which has worked well in the past but i have 2 ps3s that this has not worked for.
