New XBOX 360 Terms of Use

I went to log into my live account today and was encountered with a message that ready XBOX LIVE has new TOU. It went on to state that if I did not accept this new TOU then I would not be able to log into my live account. I accepted just to see what would happen. Nothing different so far. I did a Google search and found nothing about this. Can somebody with with better knowledge help explain what the new differences are?

I don't know about the previous TOS but this one says that if you live in the US you are giving away your rights to sue them in a normal court... and can only go to one of those pseudo courts "ARBITRATION courts" that allways rule in favour of companies...

Glad i don't live in the us... land of the free my ass...

ToU's can be taken to court, no matter what they say. Agreeing to one would reduce chances of winning. They are not the law.

That sound's just like one of Sony TOS about 8+ months ago. No class action lawsuit i believe it was or same like this .You can only sue 1 & 1. They must be, taking after Sony .It is really sad sad these bully's ,involving the LAW & joke of TOS/Rules in the world of gaming ,that is supposed to be free of LAWS & of Suing there own customers .

Forced bindings agreements when your already a paying customer are even worse to force a TOS like that on you. It should not be allowed a TOS like this until your membership expires = on renewal is a different story !

"We can hack for it is are Freedom to so"

I guess it's interesting, if reading "small print" on legal documents that have no bearing on your life is one of your main hobbies.

This thread makes masturbation seem like a worthwhile and productive pastime that should be taken seriously.

....FYI, Microsoft have recently changed some terms of how their IPs can be exploited by end users. Apparently the terms themselves haven't actually changed but wording has been changed to give more clarity as to what an end user can and cannot do in terms of financially gaining when using a Microsoft owned IP.

I don't get off on reading small print so can't say for sure if that is part of the change of the Xbox Live TOS but I believe it is.

Have better things to do like scratch my backside.

But doesn't opting out imply that you must forfeit your right to access psn?

I think it is kind of important when a ToS screws you out of a consumer right. Human CentiPad. (South Park reference).

Remember, it doesn't affect you till you end up in court with a company.
