the clip will only damage if its not connected with care (so be gentle )
if your rough with it then it will get damaged.

the 1.2 guide wont be for a while
the prices keep changing and so does the date of dispatch.

as soon as they start sending them out i can see who has the quickest delivery time to the uk.

the dongle.
you need to go onto the ps3devwiki and search for PS jailbreak
there should be a result in the download section
that should be the file to put on your dongle to turn it into a fsm dongle.

if you cannot find it let me know and i will see if i can find the link.

@ Bailey, when you get around to fixing the hidden e3 install. I found the soldering the e3 is missing also. Well its missing on my end.

someone else pointed that out to mec yesterday.
i did do it but i didnt save it in the guide.
so i am going to be re-doing it (was hoping to do it tonight but been busy)
so tomorrow hopefully or during the week.

i will post a reply when i have done

Yeah. Think that was me, on my thermaltake esata thread. I brought it up on here because I also noticed that the soldering e3 was missing, I'm not talkin about dual boot or hidden its above that part of your tut for e3.

Hi all just an update ok brick flashing did not have it at all no matter what I did I supply 3.3 externally as well nothing

So back to r8 closed always r7 open

I tried every combination of settings I even got it to the last 7 addresses were failing and everything was ok some how I f** that up but finally I got it on single word program and USB transfer speed

I even tried dibble word mode and it too 8 hours lol

Dont know what I have done when I disconnected the powersupply.
Well, I have given the ps3 to a workshop where they will find the problem and hopefully it is just the powersupply that is dead, or maybe the "power & panel" is dead.... soo many possibilties.

Anyway, I could not find the PS Jailbreak file on PS3WIKI use for getting in fsm...
can any1 find the file for me? or just give me the name and I will google it....

The dongle I have is this one... Hope any1 know how to downgrade this after using the e3 flasher... and which file I need and how to insert the file to prepared the dongle go to fsm---

Will i really do not know if you tried that but; i have done a lot of Spansion P chip and they are a pain:
For sure if you have verification errors: it is one of two things or both combined :-):
1- check your wires again and again and make sure they are not touching anything else but since you are doing RGH and you are good in wiring we can roll this out. (but double check). Reading Good Dumb does not mean your wiring is perfect since i had this issue with two Ps3 and get good read but bad write so i did re-wired every thing.

2- the second issue which is the common one and it solved 90% of the problem is:
- Use WinSkeet40000_111004 instead of the newest one
- connect the Progskeet as libusb Via zadig
- write the dumb at 8bit.
- use X86 windows 7 or XP
this done it for all my Spansion

if you still has issues try bridge the (gp4 on progskeet) with (rdy on progskeet) with small wire and wire the (RY/BY# on PS3) to (rdy on progskeet) alone as usual.
