hi all,

I am lost to what is happening,

I am on the step just after succesfully installing a downgrade dongle
and the ps3 shuts down after boot.


now I install a usb stick with the
PS3UPDAT.dat and the Lv2diag.self

and the ps3 shuts down immediately like if I had the downgrade dongle.


without usb stick the same issue

how should I continue or recover?

Do you have the usb stick in the farthest right usb port?

sorry the issue was NTFS stick!

it was a strange night... like emp bomb on my desk all my usb sticks
died and i used an NTFS on the rush


now i am waiting the 4-5 flashing i guess

sorry but again I have strange behaviour and I cant find info to help.

I did the step 1 and shut down after 4-5 mins
i did step 2 and shut down after 30sec max

but then when I removed the usbs it continiously shut downs after 5sec
of power on... like if he waits a usb stick with staff in it.


did I bricked my ps3?

does some one has a PS3UPDAT.pup for 3.55 and an Lv2diag.self
that suits the case?

Did you use the files from step 1 of my mediafire link? Or did you use your own PUP file?

I did try your mediafire link files that and it didnt start the
update for some reason and then I tried to
install a diferent pup (3.55 kmeaw that i had on other ps3 console)
file and kept the Lv2diag.self of your step1.

and the flash started as it should be.


then step2 to exit from fsm.

I'm freaking out , i got a ps3 CECH-2001B fw 4.11 i got to the begining of chapter 2 on the guide where i have to get into fsm however i tried with 2 devices 1 ipodtouch and zantrax's android img and one psp 2000 on 5.50gen and ps3jig but both doesnt work.

At this point my ps3 still boot , i can see the green light but it never goes on the dashboard.I cant turn it off with the power button i always have to unplug . what i've i done wrong ? i tried for over 2hours to go in fsm mode

don't now where to place the clip and the HD is with a 90° angle, i have the E3 Limited edition and can only find TUT's for PS3 Slim.....Help please

Thanx for this tutorial,
i had around 15 Downgrades without a problem and i am using both ProgSkeet and E3 Flasher.
i had 4 PS3 of Mine (they were Date Code 0D) with factory FW 3.56 but can be downgraded to 3.50.
i downgraded two with the Progskeet: No Problem.
but the other two i downgraded with E3 Flasher: while De-hashing it gave me an error 8002F1F9, will i read about the error and it is related to Bluetooth. i was able to bypass the error. but now one of the PS3, work fine for 15 mins then the controller will not work unless it is connected to the USB cable. the other ps3 works but the controller has to be connected to USB cable all the time.
i have tried Re-Marry no luck
Note: i done about 8 PS3 downgrade with the E3 flasher only this Datecode 0D gave me this issue.
i have the original dumps, and all validated correctly, but i did not do the Backup dumps after putting the Regaero FW.
I was thinking of flashing again the original Dump to the Ps3 or using the Progskeet with these 2 PS3, but i put them a side now. so can you give me some advice what to do here?

You have a nand model ps3. E3 flasher is only for nor models.

Sounds like you need to replace the bt module. Or at least it is connected properly.
You will not be able to dehash without it. Because OFW checks to make sure everything is connected and working.
