Need help jail breaking I am a total noob
What model number is your PS3?
PS3 Slim 120gb What firmware is your PS3 on? 4.25 Is it a hardware problem? no Is it a software problem? If it is a software problem, have you made sure that you have downloaded the latest version of this software? Are you running CFW? no What CFW are you running? Is your console bricked? no If so, do you know why it's bricked? Have you ever downgraded your console with hardware flashers? (Teensy, ProgSkeet, E3 Flasher, etc...) no Have you tried searching the forum for someone experiencing the same problem before posting? yes Describe your problem: I just want to know if I can jailbreak my console without taking it apart or buying anything. What have you tried to do to resolve this issue yourself: Spent about 3 hours searching forums and other websites |

You can use PSN, etc.
But JB or use of CFW i doubt so @FrankenBerry

Telling us it is a slim 120 is not telling us what model. 2001 2501b 2501a 3000? What model chech is it?

It is either a FAT 120GB Model or it is a CECH-2001a or CECH-2101a so yes all them can be downgraded. If you send me your console I can downgrade for you put on CFW with PSN access and ship it back to you for $40 Total but you will need to pay to ship to me. I will not be able to do this though until either next week or the week after that.
