You will not be able to dehash without it. Because OFW checks to make sure everything is connected and working.
Thanx, do you mean Desolder the BT module but it was working perfectly before the downgrade process and the two PS3 are never used and removed them from the packaging.
did you do 0D date code ps3? because i used the E3 flasher to other Date codes without any problem.

I would make sure all the wires are connected good and not damaged.

I have done a lot of datecode 0D, and not had problems.
I have even done a ton of datecode 1A, and only a few were undowngradable.

That error is definitely the WiFi/bt board. And can be fixed by replacing cable
, most of the time.

I know reading a Dumb is not like writing it, so may be my wiring was not that good since with the E3 Flasher i can not check like the ProgSkeet it gives me Verification error.
which cable you are talking about playerkp420? the Wifi/bt board is soldered to the Mobo?

There is a black and white wire, that should plug onto the mobo.

Ok so i have used this tutorial before on probably 5-6 ps3s all downgraded.

I went to do my slim and i got my backup and and checked it no errors anywhere and i did the patch for the bios

When it is done, you will now have a file named bkpps3.patched.bin
Copy bkpps3.patched.bin to your empty sd card and rename to bkpps3.bin
Safely remove sd card from PC and insert into e3 flasher.
Make sure you have nothing plugged in the USB slots.
Put all switches down on flasher.
Press start on flasher, and wait for blue leds to light up 1 by 1. When done lights will alternate flash.
Reboot PS3 from XMB.
On boot you should see "please connect controller screen" (note - If you see a blackscreen instead, you can still continue with next step)

i got to there had all my switches down and did that process took a while and then saw the blue LEDs alternating then held the xmb button on the ps3 controller and shut the system down. put my e3 card reader / downgrader in the right usb port and turned back on and nothing, no flashes from my downgrader no HDD activity LED flashing or WIFI no video no sound. I have never had a issue before i always got the Do not connect controller screen. etc

For some reason i thought there was a part in the downgrading process where you used the downgrade.bin file and have all switches except the 6th switch up to actually downgrade.

but i read over the tutorial at least 10 times and i do not see one step that even mentions the downgrade.bin file

I think you got ahead of yourself a bit. You inserted the downgrade dongle too soon

Code:
Press start on flasher, and wait for blue leds to light up 1 by 1. When done lights will alternate flash.
Reboot PS3 from XMB.
On boot you should see "please connect controller screen" (note - If you see a blackscreen instead, you can still continue with next step)
DO NOT CONNECT CONTROLLER!
TURN OFF POWER BY SWITCH OR PULL POWER CABLE.
Insert your downgrade dongle in the right USB port.
Plug in power cable or switch back on.
Press POWER then EJECT in that order within a split second. and wait for the PS3 to shut off by itself.
Note-Step 1 and Step 2 folders are inside FACTORY/SERVICE MODE folder from downgrade any pack.
And as for the downgrade.bin, playerkp420 changed his tutorial.

I do part 1 downgrade as he had it before

Code:
1. Put the e3_downgrade.bin file on your sd card. Insert sd back into flasher.
2. Set switches 1 - 5 down and 6 up.
3. Press reset, then start. Wait for the blue lights again. When done lights alternate blink.
4. Shut down PS3 from XMB.
5. Power on PS3. You should get a screen that says "Plug in controller to USB and press PS button"
6. DO NOT DO WHAT THE SCREEN SAYS!
7. TURN OFF POWER BY SWITCH OR PULL POWER CABLE.
8. Insert your downgrade dongle in the right USB port.
9. Plug in power cable or switch back on.
10. Press POWER then EJECT in that order within a split second. and wait for the PS3 to shut off by itself.
11. Place the Lv2diag.self and Rogero_v3_with spoof from the step 1 folder onto a USB Flash drive and rename R_CFW_v3.1_PS3UPDAT.PUP to PS3UPDAT.PUP.
12. Replace the downgrade dongle with the flash drive in the farthest right USB port.
13. Turn on your PS3. Wait. In about 3-5 minutes your PS3 will shut off.
14. Take the flash drive back to the computer and quick format to fat32.
15. Place the Lv2diag.self from the step 2 folder onto the flash drive.
16. Put the flash drive back into the farthest right port of the PS3, turn on and wait, in about 30 - 45 seconds it will shut down again.
17. Take out the flash drive, then turn on your PS3. The first thing you will see is Rogero when your PS3 boots up.
18. Now you need to repeat Chapter 1 Part 2 Make some bios backups. This is IMPORTANT in case you brick while installing other firmwares.
So I am not sure if you need to start over or not. Thats what I would do, but Can let playerkp420 answer.
