You could try using Atmel Flip software as mentioned here: http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?t=14711 It should find it if yours has the AT90USB162 chip.

if what redtree said works eg Atmel Flip software then u would need the psgrade files which are here http://www.ps3hax.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=538

i think it would be the Teensy 1.0 hex
which is psgrade_teensy_at90usb162_16.hex

well what a pain in the ass this turned out to be!

i dont know if you have seen this thread but its the sample of the updater
but the updates that i "might" find could be locked to the serial number in the ps jailbreak device.

if anyone has any update files please post
it will save alot of searching

Also, as baileys said, if you have the update files for your PS Jailbreak2 dongle device. It would maybe help me.

I do not have any update files I'm afraid. I have the PS Jailbreak2 with a ATmega32L controller which I just set to downgrade mode with the program I posted before.

So I decided that Im better off if a buy a new one, what should i buy?
