Well now that TB is dead. And N0DRM have stopped patching sadly ( https://twitter.com/N0DRM/status/257903793763647488 ) I've been thinking about switching to DEX. But i just wanna get your opinion guys. Should i stick with CEX? Or go with DEX? I already know that there is a risk of bricking. But if there are no more patches for 3.55 anymore. I might just take the chance. So what do you think?

You cant have played every game on PS3 that works on 3.55?!

..anyway... I think DEXing is the future IMHO. If you've got to that point, and your confident in your reading skills: convert.

But read, re-read and read again all the instructions, and make sure you triple check at each stage of the process.

Dex is pretty much the best thing you can get for now, so if you think you are up for it then convert but listen to @DEFAULTDNB advice about reading.

P.S. I'm very sad about N0DRM tweet.
Paradox was a pretty well know and respectable group in past but now they think only about shady profits and making the competition leave, what the hell happened to them!?

At the end of the day we know there is a method of decrypting eboots. TB proved this. We dont need TB, we dont need paradox, we just need the method.

One day it will come out.

I have a lot of games too but i have and i mean HAVE to play ACIII when it comes out and it seems DEX will be the only solution for me.

That day may never come. Because if anyone knew that method. They'll just make reDRM devices to make money. which BTW Blue disk seems to be is the next DRM device to come. I bought TB but i will never EVER buy Blue disk. that you can bet on.

haha this is funny... i've said (int the ODDE thread) that i was afraid that the crackers would run away and begin making 1:1 copies for the ODDE thingie that is in the works...

Guess i was kind of right...

anyway when you get fed up of all the games you can play on cex consider the conversion... it is kind of painless (for nor consoles)..

If you have a bit of knowledge about the PS3 I would recommend you to switch to DEX :-)
