Ps3 with newest firmware and seagate 500gb usb drive, formatted in fat32. How can i install games to it, i can copy savegame files there but when i install new game to ps3 it says not enough space (internal)... Console is not jailbreaked and games is original... do i need open manager etc to it ?

yess you can only store music/videos on your usb

only when you buy them and download them off psn and they need to be activated to the console by logging into psn with the account that made the purchase and activating them.
you can not however run them off a usb drive, they are internal hdd only

as you have an official firmware ps3 (no jailbreak) you must make do with buying your games or do the work and downgrade (if its possible with your console)
