Tired of trying and searching

Im searching for the tutorial/fix the "Game Quit: No Request Event" error. It's with alot of games.

Sleeping Dogs
Blades of Time
Rage
DBZ Ultimate Tenkaichi
etc

Im on DEX firmware 4.11, connect external USB drive it does see the games but i get the error, with the DEX GAME MOUNTERit doesn't show the game i mounted in mM. I followed this http://www.ps3hax.net/2012/08/mm-04-05-01-dex-mmdm/

I changed some settings in debug settings:
Release Check Mode - Tried both settings
Boot Mode - Only tried System Software Mode due to ProDG.
Blu-Ray Disc Access - Tried both settings

Please help im almost at the point to throw it out the window and buy a new PS3 with new games

(spent alot of time converting my PS3 from CEX to DEX now im still not able to play my games)

Thanks

A little more info would be nice.
Are the games you mentioned patched for 3.55 or are they original.
and the "Game Quit: No Request Event" is no error at all. that's just the firmware telling you, you just quit a game or homebrew without the need to do something else like for instance reset the console.
If you're trying to mount games like you did on a CEX console, you need to be on a 3.55DEX firmware with peek/poke.
So tell us exactly what you did what you do to start a game.

Try getting the downgrader 3.55 PUP for DEX and itskamel's DEX CFW PUP, this SHOULD solve all of your problems since you are still on DEX 4.11
(that's why it doesn't work, you don't have CFW with peek and poke)

If you still continue to experience problems, PM me or reply here and I will assist however I can.

Good luck, and I hope this fixes your troubles.

EDIT: BTW here is a web site that has those two FW that are needed, signup is required but worth it as you might need to go back there more than once.

thanks for the info about the (no) error :-).
Blades of Time was playable on CEX 3.55 so that should be a DUPLEX patch. Borderlands 2 and Sleeping Dogs are original. So no patch there.

Do they need to be patched if yes.......why the hell did i convert my PS3 to DEX???? I could have stay on TB CFW even FIFA 13 worked with a patch.

For my understanding i need to downgrade to 3.55 DEX?

thanks

Well that's a two part question.

1. If you want to play games like you did on you're CEX, than you need to downgrade to 3.55dex and then install a 3.55dex firmware with peek poke.
Then backups will run the way you where used to on a regular CFW.
Newer games (3.60+) need to be patched for 3.55 otherwise they will not work because there is no DEX firmware higher than 3.55 with peek/poke.

2.Games for 3.60+ firmware only work on higher DEX firmwares if Sony released an official patch for that game.

So to play games like lets say 'Sleeping Dogs' you need to :

Update you're PS3 to 4.21 DEX

Download the gamepatch on you pc using PS3GameUpdater.

Unpack the gamepatch on your PC using PKGview and repack it for DEX using psn_pakage_npdrm.exe

Install that repacked gamepatch on your dex console using 'install packages' on your XMB.

Then use PS3gen on your pc to Build an image of the game on an external hdd or pendrive.
(You have to format the drive using the option under 'Debug settings' on your ps3 giving you 1 partition to put a game on, or format the drive using ps3gen on your pc, giving you 4 partitions to put games on)

Once the image is build, insert that usb drive into the right usb slot(usb000)on your ps3 and restart the console. The game should appear where normally the disk icon is.

I know it seem little complicated at first, but its accually quite simple once you've don it a few times.
Hope this helps a bit.

Edit: Using MMdm gamemounter only works for games that are 3.60 or below and the game does not appear where the disk icon is. They work only true '/app_home'.

Hello.

I am trying to play Fifa 13 on my PS3 DEX 4.21 using multiman, mmdm and Prodg but until now i didnt manage to getting it to work it to work.

Steps tha i followed.

1) I copied FIFA.13.Eboot.Patch.PS3-DUPLEX self, sprx files in the game's folder

2) I mounted the game by using the mmDM 02.03.05 on a z:\ virtual drive ok

3) Installed, configured ProDG v420.1.14.7 and connected on my PS3 via LAN (i used the same letter z:\ as a file server directory like the virtual drive created in mmDM) ok

4) Configured the network servers on multiMAN v04.06.03 BASE DEX ok

5) I see the games on multiman game list but when i click to play then the PS3 returns to XMB.

What am i missing?

Do i need to decrypt the Eboot patch files and change all dev_bdvd references to app_home?

Please enlighten me, thank you in advance.

Greetinz, MultiMAN usually exits to the XMB upon selecting a game. When you go to the disc icon (assuming you have a disc in the PS3 drive) it will have your newly loaded game, unless you mean you are clicking on the disc icon from the XMB, in that case then you might have a bad copy/rip of the game, or the fix you have installed does not match up with the game you have. (I.E. duplex only releases the european version of the game "BLES-XXXXX" not "BLUS-XXXXX" so if you have the BLUS version of fifa 13 then it will not work, try re-acquiring again and see if it helps.

Good luck and for future reference, this is the wrong area to ask these types of questions. Not trying to be rude, but usually it would be faster to start a new thread or find a similar one about the same type of game. I just happened to stumble across this thread again and found your question. Hope this helps though.
