how and what did you configure the keyset as??

I used the other key files as a template but I created an empty file, pasted the hex into the file using a hexeditor and named it as:app-key-425/lv1-pub-425/lv1-key-425

Im not sure what other file names to try.

u need a

erk/riv/iv right to decrypt a sce file ?

the posted key is the length of a generic erk... so your missing the other two, and then curve and what not.....

its not as simple as copying the key into scetool and testing.. then again i dno =/

The format that "PS3Tools v3.1" has for scetool is from a .ps3 folder.

with the files named pkg-key-355, pkg-key-350,etc. Each file has the specific key in hex inside of it.

That's what i think too, after all there's a reason if it's it's called a "keyset".
Problem is that if we don't know the other parts of the set then we can't say for sure if it's real/fake.

We will have to wait to some confirmation or keep going deeper into the rabbit hole to end in China with negative results....
